Uniquely the Argisol system uses Neopor, a patented fireproofed polystyrene developed by BASF, which gives an insulation factor of up to 1.3 higher than white EPS.

Neopor is made of Monostyrene, which is proceeded into Polystyrene and by using Pentane as the blowing agent EPS is made. By the addition of graphite, the EPS is upgraded to Neopor.

Neopor is pre-expanded to 30 gr/lit. density, which provides the highest insulation factor as well as a stronger shell.

Inner and outer boards are connected by sheet metal inserts manufactured from galvanized sheet metal of 0.5mm strength.

This gives a very strong and solid bond between inner and outer shuttering boards allows the concreting process of up to 3m height in one step. The bent areas of the sheet metal give perfect transmission of loads that were fused into the Expanded Polystyrene (EPS).

Competitors such as those using wire insertions or plastic cannot take such high loads.

The variety of available Argisol elements allows the build of any demanded or bespoke architectural design. Argisol Elements are designed to be shortened or cut in steps of 25mm. No other system offers such flexibility for the design of buildings.

The surface of the elements has well- thought-out dovetail shaped grooves which optimise rendering process.

The system allows for tailor-made conduits and ducting.
