Fast, easy, cost-saving

One decisive advantage of ICF constructions is low wage costs: they are only 1/3 in comparison to traditional ways of building. To build with ARGISOL® is child’s play: due to the nubs even a layman is able to build in a truly aligned and plumb way. Furthermore, unfilled elements are very light and therefore make heavy building work much easier. ARGISOL® shuttering elements can be put up and filled in no time in comparison with brick walls. Last but not least, the ARGISOL® building system is more cost-saving than traditional ways of building.

Energy-conscious

Building in a traditional way means that high demands on heat protection can only be met by using additional heat insulation. By using double-sided Neopor® shuttering ARGISOL® allows you to achieve an incredible U-result of 0,27W/m²K. With ARGISOL® you will always get a low-energy house.

Comfortable room atmosphere

By insulating the inside wall, the wall surface temperature differs only by 1°Celsius from the room temperature. As a result, there is hardly any air circulation because of temperature differences in the room. Therefore, a comfortable feeling is achieved at any season of the year, summer and winter alike. Due to the solid concrete core, a reliable sound absorption parameter of Rw = 45 dB is achieved, which is a guarantee for quiet living.

Effective building

ARGISOL® provides optimal heat and sound insulation although the wall thickness is only 25cm. Your advantage, an increasse in living space! With an assumed floor space of 100m² about 4,5m² space is gained in comparision to a 36,5 cm wall.

Plan creatively

ARGISOL® building elements can be shortened in grids of 2,5cm with a simple saw. The diversity of ARGISOL® specials elements (corner, angle and arched stones) means they are easy to adapt to any ground-plan.

Prefabricated construction by shuttering elements made of NEOPOR® and Styropor® – from floor slab – shuttering to complete shuttering

After the concreting process, the shuttering elements made of our Argisol ICF systems have a massive concrete core with integrated inner and outer wall insulation. Consequently, the house is perfectly insulated because the two-sided Shuttering made of NEOPOR® prevents almost all discharge of warmth to the outside. The slight difference of only one degree between room air and the wall surface prevents almost all room air movement.
Consequently, there is a cozy feeling of living all year round.

Benefits of Argisol

Fire Resistance: ARGISOL has the European F90 approval, which indicates a period of 90 minutes or longer, during which the fire would not pass the wall. In a serious fire incident only the Neopor shuttering on the Outer wall of the Argisol Building System will start to melt at approx. 200°C. The covering could then start to flow, but would not drop down, The Argisol Building will not burn. ARGISOL has the sheet metal embedded which would not burn, not melt and not give any breakthrough the concrete to allow the fire to move behind an ARGISOL wall. This position was proven by rigorous tests conducted by the Technical University (TU) of Braunschweig Germany. Test Report will be made available on demand

Optimal cooling even though the wall thickness is only 25cm or less (depending on house type and load bearing requirements): by insulating the inside wall, the wall surface temperature differs only by 1°Celsius from the room temperature. As a result, a comfortable feeling is achieved at any season of the year. If the room requires additional cooling using air conditioning, capacity of the installed air conditioner would be less than that required for building made from conventional materials. Also, as the cold or heat generated is retained for much longer, the duration of time for air-conditioning is reduced significantly. The Argisol system produces smaller air-conditioning bills.
